We’re Andre and Jochen, the founders of Weinpicker. Honestly, we didn’t start this as a dedicated service—it all began with customers from the US asking us: Can you send a bottle of wine to my family in Germany with a personal note? We said, Sure, why not?

Do I pay international shipping or import fees?
No. You pay the listed German product price and the domestic German shipping cost shown at checkout. You do not arrange or pay for an international alcohol shipment.
Can I order from the USA, UK or another country and have the wine delivered only in Germany?
Yes. You place the order online from abroad; Weinpicker dispatches the wine locally within Germany.
Do I need to deal with customs when sending wine to Germany?
No. Since the wine is shipped domestically within Germany, there are no customs declarations, no alcohol import paperwork, and no cross-border shipping issues for you.
How fast is wine delivery in Germany?
Most wine gifts are delivered within 1–3 business days, depending on the destination. Tracking information is provided so you and your recipient can follow the delivery.
